The southernmost point of the mainland contiguous U.S. that's accessible is at Flamingo, Florida in Everglades National Park. The actual southernmost point is at Cape Sable, about 11 miles west of here, but you need a boat to get there. This point, at Flamingo, is as far south as you can walk on the mainland United States. |
