When I was a BLM ranger in the 1980s, I hiked up to Redcloud Peak (14,034') and neighboring Sunshine Peak (14,001' -- the lowest 14'er in the U.S.) every summer and I'd see hardly anyone on the trail. Now it's a lot more popular.
