This is the south-southwesternmost point in the contiguous United States.  Border Field State Park is next to Tijuana, Mexico on the Pacific Ocean.

I hiked out here with my friends Troy and Carlye and it was a bit surreal.  As we hiked the two miles down to this point, several Border Patrol helicopters swirled overhead, looking for illegal aliens crossing the border.  Then near the fence, a Border Patrol agent in a truck nearby started checking us out.  You can see the truck in this panorama.

The U.S. side was deserted but the Mexican side was crowded with folks enjoying the beach.  You're not supposed to approach the fence, since folks on the other side can throw drugs over and I didn't want to have any explaining to do to the Border Patrol agent nearby.
